Generalised back pain is caused when the muscles become shortened due to poor posture, lack of or over exercise.
By relaxing the muscles with a deep tissue massage along with advanced stretching techniques, the muscles will gently return to their optimum state. Allowing the discs and vertebrae to naturally return to their correct position, relieving the pressure on the nerve and eliminating back pain.
In extreme cases the inter-vertebral disc may become misplaced.
A prolapsed disc is caused when the muscles on one side of the spine become too short. This brings two vertebrae close together, squeezing the disc in the opposite direction, causing back pain.
With regular treatment most back pain can be reversed.
Additionally, the inter-verteabral dics can dry out if you are not well hydrated.
